Cement
 The key element of any concrete and or screed. Normally available in 3 types, straight CEM1, 2 or 3. CEM 1 is straight OPC. CEM 2 is a PFA (pulverised fuel ash a by product from power stations) blended cement. CEM 3 is a GGBS (Ground, granulated blast furnace slag a by product of steel production) blended cement. All have specific properties but, in terms of most common domestic applications, all are suitable.
Greening
Freshly laid concrete can sometimes exhibit the effect of greening. This is a known reaction from the cement and will disappear, typically within 2>3 weeks after exposure to sunlight and as the concrete achieves final cure. It has no detrimental effect on the concrete performance and is non toxic.
